Learning & Development Business Partner/Manager

Our client who is a leading BPO business with a strong focus on employee and organisational development is adding to their learning and organisational development team with the appointment of a new Learning & Development Business Partner.


Key responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships (both internal and external)
  • Agreeing Learning & Development strategies with the operation to ensure fit-for-purpose training programmes
  • Providing expertise in design and delivery of new business streams and organic growth with incumbent clients
  • Effectively managing and scheduling a team of L&D Specialists
  • Managing a programme to identify internal SMEs and Project Trainers – from talent identification through to upskill and delivery, creating a talent and succession pool for future growth
  • Continually evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of in-house training through engagement and speed-to-competency
  • Strategic planning of all induction/upskill programmes; both delivery and room availability
  • Observation & development on all training delivery to ensure the progression of skill and knowledge is kept fresh
  • Support and design quarterly team events/off-sites
  • Support bid design and activity for new and incumbent clients
  • Management of L&D operational budget including timely reviews to support ramp and growth
  • Conduct training needs analyses across business streams to ensure training remains effective and is reflective of current business requirements
  • Identification of potential flight risks through regular attrition reviews and preventative action plans


Experience required:

  • 3 years in a Learning & Development role
  • 1 year in a people management role
